Required to take money
Privacy policy
PLACEHOLDER — this page is a stub, not final legal copy. Per docs/website-plan.md section 3, real content (not a generator template) is required before the site can process payment. Do not publish this page as-is.
What this site collects
This site (the pages under site/) sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and
loads no third-party scripts, fonts, or trackers — see site/README.md for
what "self-contained" means here. The "Book a draft" form, once wired to a real submission
endpoint (not yet — see that page's own note), will collect the fields shown on that form
and nothing else.
What the product collects
DraftCast's live product (a separate, non-static system this page does not cover) stores the event stream from a connected draft, the league record, and the signed-in commissioner's basic Google profile information. Watchers hold a share link only — no account, no personal data collected from them.
Deleting your data
A commissioner can delete a single league's data — the draft's event stream, its broadcast configuration, any stored platform credentials, its bookings, and the league record itself — or delete their whole account, which does the same for every league on it and then removes the account, its sign-in sessions and the email address attached to them. Anonymous viewers hold no account, so the push subscriptions they opted into are removed with the league they subscribed to.
Payment records are the exception, and they are kept. We retain the record of a purchase — the amount, the date, the provider's reference — because a business has to be able to account for money it took, but the email address on it is erased when the account is deleted, leaving a record that identifies a transaction rather than a person.
Two things a deletion cannot reach, stated plainly: an encrypted backup taken before the deletion still contains the deleted records until that backup expires, and our payment provider keeps its own record of every charge under its own policy.
How long a broadcast is kept
By default, a completed draft's data is kept until it is deleted. A deployment can be configured to purge completed drafts automatically a set number of days after the broadcast is signed off; where that is switched on, the number will be stated here. Drafts that were never signed off are never purged automatically.
What neither will ever do
No third-party advertising, no ad networks, no selling or sharing of league data, and no tracking of watchers. The broadcast is the product; your league's attention is not.
